Plant Smiles
This is my challenge card that I have entered on the Just Right blog this week. We had a certain sketch to follow. I used a flower that I made from pages of a book, a scalloped heart punch and distress inks. The background is olive coordinations card stock that I ran through a Quik Kutz embossing folder and then sanded. The border was made by using a Martha Stewart punch. The squares are nestibilities and then I used a saying from Just Right stamps. I love the colors of Fall! I went on a little road trip to the mountains with 2 dear friends yesterday. The trees were pretty and I will miss the colors when the leaves fall off the trees! They just don't stay long enough! We also had a great time at the apple orchard on top of a mountain. The apple cider donuts covered in cinnamon sugar were to die for!

Autumn Challenge
I created this card for the cuttlebug spot challenge. We were to make anything autumn. I have been wanting to make more window cards, so I chose to make one for this challenge. I used K&CO decorative paper for the window front. I used the nestibilities labels 14 for the window and another of their labels for the saying. The pumpkin is from a Fall Inkadinkado set and I colored it using Twinkling H2Os. The vines on the side is a cuttlebug border enhanced using a dark brown ink pad. I used the Martha Stewart leaf border punch as an added touch. Embellishments are silk flowers and a brown silk bow.

Cat's Pajamas Challenge
I have entered the Cat's Pajamas challenge this week. We are to use the colors, red, pink and orange. We had a choice to go bright or subtle. I had this cute poodle of theirs and I chose to go bright. I used Martha Stewart's corner and border punches to make the lace trim on the pink background. The decorative paper behind the poodle is from K&CO. I used a Nestibility as a cut out to stamp the poodle on. I colored the poodle with an orange marker and then used pink Tulip paint for the "fur" and sprinkled pink glitter over the paint. I love Cats's Pajamas stamps. They are so cute!

Peek-A-Boo Owl
Here is another fancy fold card. This time I went 5 1/2" wide x 4 1/4" long. This will also fit in an A2 envelope. I had a lot of fun making this card. The "tree" part of the card was made using "wood" paper and then running it through the Tim Holtz wood grain folder and swiping a brown ink pad over the embossed areas. I cut a hole from the knot in the "wood" and placed my stamped owl behind it. He is colored with Twinkling H2Os. The pumpkin is a cuttlebug die and the vines on the sides is a cuttlebug border. The small pumpkins border was made using a Martha Stewart border punch. Fall is my favorite time of year with the crispness in the air and all the beautiful colors. I hope you enjoy this card!

Wooden Barn
I bought some wood "paper" a few days ago. It actually looks and feels like wood, so I had to use it! I stamped the barn on this card onto the wood paper and used pop dots to make it stand out. The background on this card was made by patting 3 colors of Distress Inks onto a craft sheet, spritzing the colors with water and then moving the cream colored card stock around in the colors. I always love how the background turns out.

Pumpkin Stack
I made this card for the Sparkle N Sprinkle Thanksgiving card contest. We needed to use their stamps, so I had this pretty pumpkin stack of theirs. I ran chocolate coordinations card stock through the pumpkin cuttlebug folder and sanded the raise areas. The gold color showed through. I used a new Martha Stewart punch which is the woven brown strip behind the pumpkins. I colored the pumpkins using colored pencils and Gamsol. Silk leaves and a brown satin bow were used for embellishments.

Window Cards
Here are two window cards that I made a few months ago. I really enjoyed making these and I hope to make more soon. The Birthday card was made by using one sheet of double-sided paper. The butterfly card's window was made from a cuttlebug window folder.

National Card Making Day
Oct. 2nd was National Card Making Day. Our local stamp club, The Stamping Divas, got together and made 121 cards for Operation Write Home. This organization sends handmade cards to soldiers overseas so that they can have cards to send to their families. They also give cards to wounded soldiers. We had a fun day and here is a sample of the cards we made. Thanks for all of those who participated!

Stamp Haven Stencil Challenge
This is the card I made for the Stamp Haven stencil challenge. I haven't used my stencils in a long time, so this was fun! I used Tim Holtz's swirl stencil and a leaf stencil along with Adirondack color washes. I tried not to cover up my stenciling too much, but I am one for adding lots of embellishments! LOL!
