This month FOUR new stamp sets are being introduced.   These sets are 20% off their regular price, until Dec. 3rd.  All the new reveal sets are available on Cling Mounted Rubber and as a digital image.  Sweetheart Frog, set #677 is the stamp set featured in  This Month's Technique Video.

The sets are:

Toyland Bear #674   (digi version DIGI674)
Gymnast #675   (digi version DIGI675)
Love and Kisses #676  (digi version DIGI676)
Sweetheart Frog #677   (digi version DIGI677)

Hi Everyone! I trust you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are now prepared to enjoy the Christmas season. I decided to make my card using the Toyland Bear stamp set 674. I received and big cuddly teddy bear for Christmas when I was seven. He was nearly as big as I was and I loved him. I even handed him down to my boys when they were little. He was truly loved for a long time! This stamp set reminds me of him.

I had fun making my card with many layers of dies by Spellbinders and pop dotting them on top of each other. The white die is an svg cut file.

I added shimmer to the card by patting a Versa Mark ink pad on the green dies and adding Sparkle embossing powder EP107. Twinkling Clouds Sparkle N Soft SS107 was used on the teddy bear's stomach.

Sweet Christmas Doves

Hi Everyone!  How are you coming along on those Christmas cards? I still have some to make and Christmas is almost here! I just love this new stamp release set 649 from Sparkle N Sprinkle called Christmas Doves. I think the doves are so sweet!

I love using layers on my cards, so I pulled out quite a few dies to cut out and then pop dotted them on top of each other.

I used sticker paper, peeled off the top layer and added Gypsy Red velvet glitter GM2005 to it before adding the first die. I also ran the base of the card through an embossing folder to give it some texture.

Gypsy Red glitter was also used on the circle. I patted the doves with Versa Mark ink and added Sparkle embossing powder EP107 to them. I also added Sparkling Snow glitter G1003 to the rose. To see full instructions on how to make this card please click here.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great day and Happy Christmas card making too!

It's Cold Outside

Hi Everyone! I want to show  you a card I made with the new release stamp set, Finn's Scarf 671 from Sparkle N Sprinkle. Finn is so cute with his warm scarf! He sure needs it on a frosty day!

I made the background for this card using an embossing folder. I brayered onto the raised areas of the folder with Versa Mark ink, placed blue card stock on the  areas, brayered  over the cardstock and then added Belgian Cream embossing powder EP436 to it. This piece was layered onto a white piece edged with Tear-ific Tape and then Twinkling CloudsSparkle N Soft SS107 was added to the adhesive edges.

I used the Spellbinders Build a Snowflake dies for a fun border. I patted the snowflakes with Versa Mark ink and addedSparkle embossing powder EP107 to them.

I used Dimensional Glue to make the red centers on the snowflakes and added Gypsy Red velvet glitter GM2005 to them and to Finn's scarf.  To see full instructions on how to make this card, please click hereThis is such a fun set to use for Christmas or Winter.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Brrrr- It's Cold Outside

Hi Everyone, I hope you are having a good day. We are warming up some here this week, but I hear that real cold weather is on its way! Here is a card I made for the House Mouse challenge -- Brrr-It's Cold Outside. I guess this card will get me ready for next week!

I just love using my House Mouse stamps. This little fella is having fun in the snow. I remember when my sons were snowboarding and what fun they had.

The bottom of the card is an svg file I cut with my new eclips2. I placed blue glitter card stock under it. I added glitter to the snowflakes, border and image for a frosty look!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Fall Tag

Hi Everyone! I hope you are enjoying your day. The weather is getting cooler and Thanksgiving is right around the corner. I want to show you a Thanksgiving tag I made for Tim Holtz's Tags of 2014 challenge. You can see Tim's demo here. I just love the colors this time of year, even though most of the leaves have passed their peak and are falling to the ground.

Isn't this a beautiful pumpkin? I stamped the image on metal and paper pieced it or should I say "metal pieced" it? LOL! The leaves were colored with Distress inks and a water pen.

For the background I swiped the tag through several colors of acrylic paint that had been spritzed with water. I ran the tag through a leaf embossing folder and enhanced the leaves by sponging Gathered Twigs Distress ink over them. I used the Tim Holtz Collection Bubble stencil over the background and sponged on Versa Mark ink. I then added Candlelight embossing powder courtesy of Sparkle N Sprinkle.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope your day is full of good things!
