Hi Everyone! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year! At Sparkle N Sprinkle we have these cute and fun stamp sets to start the New Year with! I chose the cute mouse set called The Collector, for my card. He looks very playful and mischievous. I saw a stray cat out our window one day and there was a rat in the yard about half her size. They were playing with each other, chasing and having fun it looked like! The rat never ran away nor the cat! Guess they were about the same size so they may as well play LOL! I have never seen that before. Anyway, this little mousy is gathering up food for a feast! I ran the brown card stock through a tree trunk embossing folder, swiped Versa Mark ink over the raised areas and added Glisten embossing powder EP135 to it for some sparkle. Glisten embossing powder was used around the circle and edges of the card also. The tree limbs are from an svg cut file and I fussy cut the red berries.

Here is the inside of the card. I used Gypsy Red velvet glitter GM2005 on the berry and the leaves are another svg cut file. Twinkling Clouds sparkle n soft SS107 was used on the mouse's stomach, but it is hard to see.

Blessed Christmas

Hi Everyone! I hope you are where you need to be for Christmas if you have traveled somewhere or staying home and having guests. Here is one of many ornaments I made for this Christmas. This ornament tells the full story of Christmas. Not only did Jesus come to earth in human form ..........

His purpose was to one day die for our sins that we might live an abundant life in Him on earth and in heaven
one day.

I hope you have a Wonderful and Blessed Christmas!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi Everyone!  Christmas is just two days away, but I am saying Happy Valentine's day! LOL! Valentine's Day will be here before you know it so here is some inspiration to get you started on your Valentine cards. I used the new release stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle called Love and Kisses 676.

I used an svg cut file and made the pop up hearts inside the card. I used the small hearts cut out from the inside of the card for the pile that the couple is standing on. I used a punch to cut out the large heart. Sparkle embossing powderEP107 was used on all the red hearts. I also used Sparkle embossing powder on the pink hearts that are popped up, but it is hard to see.

The couple image was fussy cut and pop dotted to the front of the card.

Thank you for stopping by. I wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Cheery and Bright

Hi Everyone! I hope you have most of your cards and shopping finished! I know it must be a mad house out there today. I am staying in where it is warm and cozy. Our weather here turned cold and rainy today. I want to share a Christmas card I made. I still might need several more before it is all said and done!

I am a true layer person when it comes to cards and it is hard for me to keep everything flat for mailing, but I am trying! The reindeer is popped up though, but should be able to be mailed okay.

I stamped the reindeer using brown ink. I then colored over it with my Versa Marker and added Brown Fizz embossing powder from Sparkle N Sprinkle. All the other dies were cut from white glitter card stock. I used an embossing folder on the brown piece and inked the raised areas with Versa mark ink to enhance the design.

Here is a closer look where you can see more of the sparkle on the white glitter card stock.

Dies Used:

Create A Flake Five -- Spellbinders
Fancy Tags -- Spellbinders
Debutante Frame Base -- Die-Versions
Orchard Tree Frame -- Die-Versions

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Clean and Simple

Hi Everyone! I hope you are having a good day. If you know me you know that clean and simple cards are not my forte and can be a challenge to me. So I took on the challenge at Impression Obsession to make a clean and simple Christmas card.  I used the Cover A Card Pine Trees stamp CC101 and added white embossing powder with glitter. I used the Penny Black In A Row die (birds) at the top.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you are enjoying the Christmas season!

Love and Kisses

Hi Everyone! I hope you are having a good day. Christmas is upon us and Valentine's Day is around the corner. Where are these months going? I want to share a card I made using the new Sparkle N Sprinkle Love and Kisses stamp set 676. I loved using the new Die-Versions die, Gents Background. I used Sticker Paper, peeled off the top layer, adhered the die and then added Cerise glitter G1104 to make a sparkly background.

I paper pieced the dress and pants on the image, fussy cut and added Bubblegum glitter G1088 to the hearts at the bottom.

I cut the small  heart from patterned paper and added Black embossing powder EP170.

We Wish You A Merry Christmas

Hi Everyone! I finally finished decorating the tree today. Now I am all set for Christmas. Don't you just love these sweeties singing Christmas carols? I wish carolers would come by and sing at my house. They did that from time to time when I was small, but you don't see that much anymore these days.

I had so much fun making this card. The ornaments are svgs. The snowflakes are Spellbinders dies Create A Flake 5. I patted the snowflakes with Versa Mark ink and added Vanilla Ice embossing powder from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  I colored the image using alcohol markers. White Liquid Applique was used  on the stump and glitter was added to it for a sparkly snow look.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope this Christmas will be extra special for you!

Christmas Tag

Hi Everyone! I know many of us are scrambling around getting Christmas things done. The outside of my house has decorations, but we still need to get out the Christmas tree. I went shopping today at our annual Holiday Fair and boy that will put you in the holiday spirit! I came home with a trunk full of items! I want to share a Christmas tag I made yesterday. I used a piece of clear acetate, ran it through a snowflake embossing folder, then dabbed Picket Fence ink on the indented side of each snowflake. I let the ink dry some and then wiped the excess off and the white ink stayed in the indented areas. I added the embossed acetate piece over a blue sprayed background and stitched around the edges.

The deer is a Tim Holtz Sizzix die and the lamp post was cut using an svg cutting file. I WON an eclips 2 die cutter a few months back! What a fun surprise! I have really enjoyed using it so far. The snowflake is a foam sticker that I added Stickle's glitter to.

To the bottom I added Moon Rise Glitter Tinsel from Sparkle N Sprinkle! Don't you just love the shimmer?

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas season!
