Many Ways to Color #8

Hi and welcome to my blog! It is time to show another way to color a stamped image. I have not used this method in years, so it was fun to pull out my shimmer paints to color these flowers. These paints blend nicely and give a beautiful shine to the image.

I was looking through my gelli plate backgrounds and found the perfect background for my image today. I used and exacto knife to cut around the waves and placed the image down in the waves to look like the mouse "boat" was in the water.

Many Ways to Color #7

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I am showing a fun way to color stamped images where you don't have to worry about being precise and to think about how to blend your colors. The coloring method is called thumping. I used Distress Fossilized Amber ink on the cats then took an orange Tombow marker and pounced the marker over the cats here and there. I used a light brown marker in the same way. I then stamped onto glossy card stock.
