Hi and welcome to my blog! Today I am showing another card I made for my blog series using old wooden stamps. I pulled out a background from my stash where I had smooshed some pastel colors onto watercolor cardstock. I stamped a background stamp over the top using clear ink and gold embossing powder. The butterfly was stamped on another piece of background paper I had made. It was fussy cut and added to the card.
Over at the Time Out Challenge we were to pick at least 2 things from their list of 6 to make our cards. I chose twine and sparkle. I love using twine on my cards. If you know me you will see that I use it a lot. I think it adds a good finishing touch to cards. Who does not like sparkle? As I said above, I used gold embossing powder on the background and the twine is also sparkly!
