I hope you are having a good week. We had our stamp club last night and I really enjoyed it as usual. What's better than a girl's night out, stamping and learning new things right? First of all here are instructions for my card holders below. These are real easy to make. I made 4 cards per holder, but I think 6 can fit in as well. You can click on the picture to see the measurements better.
Last night we made these cute little tea light cakes. These are so cute for a birthday gift or as a little favor at each person's seat at the table! Thanks, Marie, for showing us how to make these. We used a standard tea light, cut a strip of decorative paper 5" x 3/4" to wrap around the tea light. I used a scalloped punch by Stampin' Up for the top and bottom of the tea light. You can also use a scalloped die cut. A Martha Stewart border punch was used as "icing" around the "cake". Then decorate the top the way you want. I glue dotted the bottom scallop to the bottom of the tea light on one side so that I could flip down the other side in order to turn on the little switch. We also made cute little gift card holders that I will upload tomorrow. So stayed tuned!
This is so delicate and pretty. I have yet to make one of these, you did a wonderful job.
ReplyDeleteThese are so lovely!! I didn't understand at first as our tea lights in Canada are actual candles!! I was afraid all your gorgeous work was going to go up in flames!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the measurements too!
whitch size had your scallop punch?
ReplyDeleteI find the "2 fron SU is too big
