On the Two Peas in a Bucket board we have been discussing "oldies but goodies" techniques. I love techniques, but I haven't done any for awhile. I took out my blue foam block. Do you remember those? You heat it up with a heat gun and then press it on an object to make an indention in the block, ink up the block and stamp! I used the cuttlebug ceiling tile folder for my impression as you can see in the first picture. I then used a Nellie die to cut out the impression that I stamped in blue to use on the card.

ReplyDeleteVery cool April! I did have one of those blocks...from years ago. Eventually I threw it out because I had long forgot what to do with it, and I didn't quite "get it:)". Love it with the embossing folder! Beautifully done...wish I still had mine now!

ReplyDeleteYes, I do remember that technique from a class I took in 2002. Lovely, lovely card! I,unfortunately, did not think I would use the stuff and got rid of it. Now I want it back!
