Hi and welcome to the Sparkle N Sprinkle Technique Tuesday! Father's Day is right around the corner, so I thought I would show you a Father's Day card I made using a fun technique called Joseph's Coat With Patterned Paper.
Supplies needed:
- patterned paper
- embossing folder
- Versa Mark ink pad 99702
- Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad 99604
- Clear embossing powder EP120
- Sparkle embossing powder EP107
- brayer
- heat tool
- paper towel
- sponge
Run the patterned paper through the embossing folder.
I like this just the way it is but there is more! LOL!
Use Versa Mark ink and brayer it over the embossed patterned paper.
Sprinkle on clear embossing powder, shake off the excess and heat with a heat tool.
Sponge black ink all over the embossed patterned paper.
Take a paper towel and rub it over the background to get any excess ink off the embossed areas.
I also tried a background using Sparkle embossing powder. This powder is clear with glitter. I rubbed on a burgundy color over top this time to get a different look.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you will enjoy making some backgrounds using this technique. Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Beautiful card and a fun technique :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great technique April, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteFabulous technique. I think this would be a great way to change papers that you don't really like (the one or two that always seem to get in the paper packs).
ReplyDeleteLove this technique April, haven't done it in a long time, thanks for sharing. Beautiful card. Love the old woody station wagon image.
