This month we are featuring three fun new stamp sets by artists Michelle Perkett and Beccy Muir.

I decided to make a zig zag card using the new Mermaid Kisses stamp set. I loved glamming up this pretty mermaid and making the shells.

I used Magic Speckle embossing powder EP175 on the shells. This powder certainly makes them look realistic.

I also used the Magic Speckle embossing powder on the rock that the mermaid is sitting on and I used Fiery Fushia glitter G1004 for her suit.

Red Geraniums

Hi Everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your day. I want to share a card with you that I made using one of the recent Sparkle N Sprinkle stamp sets -- Geraniums 519. I love planting geraniums because they are so beautiful and hardy here in our heat in the South.

I used Gypsy Red velvet glitter GM2005 around the frame and on some of the flowers.  I cut out some of the flowers and popped them over other flowers to add dimension. I also used Sparkling Snow glitter G1003 to add dew drops to the leaves.  You can see full instructions for making this card here.

Ornaments

Hi Everyone! I hope you are keeping warm! I think it is frigid just about everywhere these days. Christmas has passed, but I guess you can't start too early for next Christmas! Here are two ornaments that I made recently. I still have a big mess of stuff on my craft table form making these, so I am planning on making some more real soon. I just love the snowman image. He looks so jolly. He just made me smile while I was working on him.

Here is the back of the snowman ornament.

This ornament will look good on my tree. Since my husband is a big game hunter, my tree has all kinds of wild life ornaments on it.

Caught a Bug?

Hi Everyone! I hope your weekend has been a good one. Sparkle N Sprinkle came out with this cute new stamp set recently and I had to have it. With it being winter a lot of us have caught a bug one time or other I am sure. I was so sick at Christmas -- sicker than I have been in ten years! I am glad it did not last long. What a cute set to use to cheer up someone this winter who has caught a bug! I used the stamp set Bugs in a Jar 510 and stamped the jar on acetate. I stamped the lid on a piece of metal sheet and attached it to the top of the jar.

I just HAD to glitter up these bugs, so I used Autumn Medley G1013 glitter on them!

Smell the Roses

Hi Everyone! I hope you are having a good day. I just made a huge mistake. I accidentally deleted my last post! I can't believe I did that. So here it is again! LOL! I made this card using a House Mouse stamp that I bought a few months ago but had never used. This reminds me to get out of my rut and small the roses! This little mousy looks like he is really enjoying the wonderful aroma.

I wish I could grow roses like my dad did. He had the most beautiful and large roses that I have ever seen.

Little Black Dress

Hi Everyone!  I want to wish you a Happy New Year and I hope your year is full of good things. I am sharing a card today that I made using the new reveal stamp set Dress Up 525 from Sparkle N Sprinkle. What girl doesn't have that little black dress as a go to for those party occasions? I sparkled this one up with Pretty Princess glitter G1109. Sparkling Snow glitterG1003  was used on some dots of the patterned paper, rose  and around the edges of the card. In The Garden

Hi Everyone! I hope you are having a good day. I want to share a card I made using a recent stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle -- Geraniums 519. I love this pretty stamp set. This set is great to use for so many occasions. I have not had this Spellbinders Gilded gate 2 die for long and I was happy to use it because it was perfect to go with this set.

I used sticker paper on card stock and added Cloud Nine velvet glitter GM2002 to it. I then ran it through an embossing folder to add texture to the background.  I cut the gate using Mirror Gold card stock.

I love the saying inside.

Hi Everyone! Happy New Year! I hope your year is filled with good things. I want to share with you the New Year's tag I made for Tim Holtz's January 2014 Tag challenge. I had a lot of fun with this. I did not have a pocket watch die, so I used several Spellbinders dies to create my own. I have been hoarding these Idea-ology gear embellishments for awhile, I must have about 5 packs of these, so I was glad to be able to use them on this tag. LOL! The stencil I used is Tim Holtz's Clock Works.You can see Tim's demo here.
