Hi Everyone! Well, we have winter again and it's only getting colder the next two days AND rainy; however, I am NOT going to let this weather keep me from thinking about Spring. So I want to share a card I made last month for Winterfest on the Two Peas in a Bucket stamping board. These little birdies are whistling in Spring!
I combined a few challenges on this card. One was that we were to use a speech bubble. Since I did not have any stamps of speech bubbles, I made my own and added a music note brad in it. Another challenge was to mask a stamp, so I masked part of a background music script stamp at the bottom of the card. The third challenge was to stamp a stamp onto wet watercolor paper. It bleeds. Let dry. Then stamp the same stamp over that image. I did this technique on the bird cage and cut it out since mine bled a little too much! LOL!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope this helps to put you in a Spring state of mind even if Old Man Winter wants to hang on! I hope you have a wonderful day!
Ha! GREAT idea about using the "speech bubble", April! Lots of birds have arrived here - I can tell by the great symphony of sounds every morning. Some are so loud, and I just love hearing them! Your vintage card is super pretty! And I hope Spring is arriving tomorrow for you. hugs, de
