Hi Everyone and welcome to my blog. Have you been sweltering like I have? I am trying to keep my plants and grass alive! While watering my flower garden I have seen some pretty butterflies fluttering by. I have some pretty phlox growing in my garden too. These things have been my inspiration for my card today. I love summer even though it has been so hot.

I used Tim Holtz's Tattered Flower Garden die to make my flowers. I used Twinkling H2O's to color them.
The butterfly is a stamp I fussy cut from the Butterfly Corner from Our Daily Bread stamps. The leaves behind the window were made by using a leaf stencil, matte white embossing paste and coloring using Distress inks and water.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you are having a wonderful day!

April, this is really lovely! I like how you used so many products! The twinkling h20s make the flowers look so pretty, and the embossing paste is multicolored and makes the leaves look very real.
ReplyDeleteHi April,
ReplyDeleteYour card is so pretty and summery! The butterfly looks like it fluttered straight in from your flower garden.
I'm from SC too, but the other side of the state - Charleston! My son will be a senior at Clemson this year, so we get up to your neck of the woods quite often.
Thank you so much for joining us at the Frilly and Funkie Challenge!
Hugs,
Nancy
