Hi Everyone! Today I have another bits and bobs card to show you. It is never too early to make Christmas cards, so I made a Christmas card using microbeads that I found in a drawer. I have a few colors of these that I purchased many years ago at a stamp convention. I used clear ones over the image. I adhered them by using double sticky paper. I also found this piece of acetate where snowflakes had been embossed with white embossing powder. I adhered this to a background I had made awhile back with Color Bursts.
This is the close up showing the microbeads.

I am having so much fun finding old things and using them again. It is almost like using something new! Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful and blessed day!

This is so pretty! I remember microbeads...they were so great also to tone down a too bright image. i remember using them or that once when my coloured image looked as if I had coloured it neon colours!

Your beads and your design are really pretty!
Good old micro beads! Thanks for the reminder, April! Love them on top of the snow globe image. Your background with the acetate snowflakes is perfect too!
ReplyDeleteThe background is amazizng! I love the fun colors with the acetate overlay. I have never tried the microbeads, but they add a really neat texture.
ReplyDeletethe embossed snowflakes look great on top of the cool paper, love the use of the beads too, always great when we can use our older products with our new ones :)
