JFF January Challenge

Happy New Year Everyone! I hope this will be your best year ever! As I get older each year goes by faster. I do not know where 2017 went! I want to show you a card I made for the Just For Fun challenge. We have a great challenge to start off the New Year. The challenge is to use blue, purple and silver on your card. These are such wonderful winter colors. I hope you will join us in the challenge and you might even win a gift certificate to the store!

I made the background on this card by patting blue and purple Oxide inks on my craft sheet, spritzing with water and dragging the card through the inks. Once dry, I spritzed some water over the background to add some interest. Next I laid a stencil over the background and used white matte embossing paste. I then sprinkled silver embossing powder over the paste and heat set it. I stamped a new Just For Fun stamp called Silhouette Pines. I used Versa Mark ink and added purple embossing powder and heat set it. The saying is from the Sentiments 3 unmounted sheet.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great start to your new year!
