I had fun making this slimline card using an actual business envelope that came in the mail. The inside of these type of envelopes have a gray or blue pattern inside. I sponged Distress inks over the pattern starting with purple and adding lighter blues as I went down the paper. The window is a see - through film that overlaps onto the paper. When sponging it resists the ink and you end up with frame around the window!
Die: Hello - Tonic
Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers
Washi Tape

I like how you made the HM go up up and away! What a creative way to use an envelope. The distress inks are beautiful and so is your card. [Bunny]

ReplyDeleteHi April, what a fun card. I love how you made the image long and narrow like a slimline card. Colors are so pretty and the word die looks nice too.
