Alphabet Soup - A is for alcohol inks

Hi and welcome to my blog. Each new year I start a series on my blog to keep me inspired throughout the year. I decided this year to go through the alphabet and use a craft item or do a card technique that starts with a letter of the alphabet. Of course today I am starting with the letter A and I have used alcohol inks to make a background. I love doing techniques with alcohol inks. This time I swiped a piece of glossy card stock through 2 colors of alcohol inks. I then spritzed a stencil with 91% alcohol and laid the stencil over the swiped background and let it sit a little bit. When I carefully removed the stencil, the alcohol removed some of the color from the background and left its impression. I stamped directly onto the background using a permanent brown ink and used alcohol markers to color in a few areas.
