I am showing another one of my frame cards today. I found a fun background in my stash to go with it. The Judikins Star Flower stamp was used with Judikins Mica Gloss inks to make the background. I love the shimmer of these inks.

I am showing a card today for the Hero Arts challenge Mr. Postman. The challenge is to make a card and send it. This card will be going to a friend who recently had a fall. I used a Hero Arts script background wood stamp that I use a lot and have had for many years. The flower is also a Hero Arts wood stamp and I love the dimension it gives with just using one color of ink. This time I used Tombow markers to color the flower.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Hi and welcome to my blog! I am showing a card I made using a brick background. I love trying new techniques, so I tried this brick background that I found online. I started with a brick embossing folder by Sizzix and ran it through my machine using white card stock. I brushed blue ink over the whole piece of card stock and then swiped brown ink over top in a few places. Next I spritzed the background a few times with water to give it a little more texture. Lastly I went over the grout areas of the brick with a white colored pencil to make the bricks stand out more. I plan on trying other colors soon using this technique.

Hi and welcome to my blog. I am showing another card for my frame series today. I found this SVG frame in my stash. I thought the frame paired well with this peacock stamp from Local King Stamps. I also found a piece of peacock feathers patterened card stock to use as a background.

Hi and welcome to my blog. I am showing my 4th card in my frame series. This victorian frame is so pretty. I saw that I had cut out several of these. I made a subtle background for this card by inking up a paper towel, spritzing it with water and holding it firmly over my card stock. You can see a light print from the paper towel.
I am back with another frame card for my frames series. This frame is called Oblong Frame by Darice. I like that it is also embossed. I stamped the flower on an alcohol inked background and used white embossing powder. I fussy cut the flower and adhered it to the card.
