Christmas In July

Hi Everyone!  I hope you are having a good day and I hope you are not too hot! I have a card to show you that might cool you down a bit. We have a really cute, new Sparkle N Sprinkle stamp set released this month called Under the Mistletoe 556. I made a stand up card using this set.

Here is the side view to see the stand up card better.

I cut the tree from patterned paper using a die and added it behind the penguin. I then added white Liquid Applique to the tree, hat, cuffs and beard and also added Sparkling Snow glitter G1003.

To make the ice block look like ice, I added Diamond Glaze to it and added more Sparkling Snow glitter on the puddle.

For further directions on how to make this card, please click here.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great day! Hope you stay cool!

Looks great April. I am just finished packing as it is back up to the lake tomorrow and make sure everything is still growing up there. It was 41 degrees while we were gone!

Your little penguin did make me feel cool...and I may just need to remember that feeling...lol The block of ice and the ouddle look great with your special treatment...as does that sparkly snowflake!

That image is too stinkin' cute. I like textured you added for the snow on the tree and the beard on the penguin. Those snowflakes are great too.
