Stamping Gear Demo

Hi! I hope you are having a good day. I got the new tool from Inkadinkado called Stamping Gear! I have had so much fun playing with it. There are so many different looks that you can get by using it in different ways. I hope you enjoy the demo. Stamping Gear is a set of gears (thus the name) where you place a stamp tool in the grooves to make beautiful frames for your cards and scrapbooks. I bought the small kit that includes the small gear and the four stamps and then purchased the two large gears.

I will start with the smallest gear and use one of the Inka stamps to show you how this generally works. You can see little brown arrows around each gear. They are actually cut out, but the brown paper makes them show up better. Just place the stamp on the tool, ink the stamp and place the tool into each groove that has an arrow, inking before you stamp each time. Keep going around the whole gear and you will make a neat frame.

You will get a different look by changing the position of the stamp on the tool like I did here. And this time I just made an arch and did not go all away around the gear.

Another neat thing about this tool is that you can also use the stamps you already have as long as they have a cushion. I will be using several stamps that I have from Sparkle N Sprinkle. The first stamp is a leaf from the Autumn Swirl set 410. I am using the big round circle gear on the inside because this is more for the size of a card. You can use the outside of the gear for a scrapbook page. I positioned my leaf a little further down the stamp tool to start with and stamped around the gear using every other groove.

Then I placed my leaf a little higher and turned it a little and stamped again around the gear using every other groove and using a different color.

Lastly I placed my stamp up even higher and turned it again. I used purple and stamped in every fourth groove this time.

Now how cool is that? Now I am using a flower from the Sparkle N Sprinkle Brocade Backgrounds set 398. I think this looks like a Christmas frame. I placed my stamp one way and then another to get two different looks using the oval gear inside. I stamped in every other groove.

Then I stamped in every fourth groove to get this look.

I hope you enjoyed the demo! There are endless possibilities with this! I know I will discover more as I play with this fun tool! Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
