Technique Tuesday -- Distress Watermark

Hi and welcome to Sparkle N Sprinkle Technique Tuesday once again! I hope you are enjoying your day. I want to share with you a technique that I just learned.  It is really beautiful and shimmery. I hope you will enjoy it.

Supplies needed:
  1. three colors of Distress ink -- I used a blue, purple and green
  2. sponge applicator
  3. white card stock
  4. light colored shimmer spray -- I used a light gold
  5. several bold outline stamps
  6. water spritzer
  7. craft sheet or other slick surface like wax paper
Take the white card stock and using a circular motion sponge on the three colors of ink.

Now take the shimmer spray and spray it on your craft sheet or wax paper.  I also spritzed more water on top of the shimmer spray to make it juicier.

Now take one of your stamps and stamp it on the shimmer spray puddle you made and then randomly stamp it on the inked card stock. Some of the Distress ink will lift off and a shimmery stamped image will appear.

Then stamp another stamp over the background in the same way.

I can't wait to make more of these backgrounds. I hope you will have fun trying this! Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful and blessed day!
