Bits and Bobs #7

Hi Everyone! Welcome to my blog. Today I am showing another bits and bobs card. While rummaging through my myriad of stuff, I came across a handful of lovely napkins that I had saved to use some day! LOL! Well, today is the day. These napkins have been in my stash for a very long time! So the background on my card is the napkin that I laid over white card stock that had been sprayed with glue adhesive. I found this butterfly stamped image in my image pile that exactly matched the background! The saying was in a sticker book that I did not remember I had. I added a piece of old lace to the bottom as well as some pearls. I have been using a lot of sequins on my cards lately, so I found these pearls to use instead.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my bits and bobs card today. Maybe it will inspire you to dig through your stash to see what fun things you discover!

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a blessed day!

This is a very pretty card. I too, love to shop my stash to create a card. It is so much fun to see just what you can find to put together!

Really pretty! I love how the napkin has a built in embossed border at the bottom. The butterfly is perfect!

Gorgeous, April! I have not only thought about the napkin technique for a long time! Thanks for inspiring me with your wonderful creation. It's fun using "found stuff" from our stash, isn't it?

Beautiful work April! That looks amazing - a napkin!!! The butterfly matches so well too, and the touch of lace is the perfect finish.

It is gorgeous, there are so many pretty napkins out there, my cardmaking group uses napkins in so many different ways, I have always used the decoupage glue when doing mine, the spray glue would be a lot less messy :) I love the way you have dressed up the card!
