 Hi and welcome to my blog. I can't believe that there is just one more month left in this background series! This year has flown by. At least I will have used 24 of my many backgrounds that I have stashed away.

Punches:  Fern Leaf and Maple Leaf

I made this background by applying tan, mahogany, and teal acrylic paint to the top of my card. I took an old credit card and swiped the colors down the card to give it an old wood look.

Handmade Background #20

 Welcome back to my blog! Happy Halloween! I have another background to show you. This technique made a fun, eerie background for a Halloween card.

I took my tree stencil and placed it on purple card stock. I took white shimmery ink and sponged it around the stencil to give it a misty night look. I stamped the haunted house to the right of the tree. I stamped the ghost, colored over it with a clear Wink Of Stella glitter pen, fussy cut it and added it to the card. All stamps are from Just For Fun Stamps.

My favorite color is aqua or teal, even though I like many other colors as well. So I  used my favorite color on my card today. I just love this new cute birthday stamp!
