Technique Tuesday -- Washi Tape

Hi Everyone! Welcome once again to Sparkle N Sprinkle Technique Tuesday. This is a little late today because of my computer problems, but I am good to go now. Today I am showing some ways to use the wonderful washi tapes that are popular now. See how you can make a calico cat with them. I really had fun playing with these. I hope you do too.

First I laid down different tapes in a row.

Then I stamped the cat on top of the tape, embossed with black embossing powder and cut him out.

Here is the card I made with my Calico cat!

Here are some other samples using the washi tapes.

On this piece I lined up my tape and then used a die to cut out a shape.

I know you will have fun making your own designs with washi tapes. Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

This is so sweet, April! I just went and checked out the instructions. I don't have any washi tape as I never thought it would be something I'd use. But I LOVE your cat!!
