This month SIX new stamp sets are being introduced. These sets are 20% off their regular price, until August 3rd.  All the sets are available on Cling Mounted Rubber and as a digital image. TheSunflower, set #643 is the stamp set featured in  This Month's Technique Video.

The sets are:

Knight Owl #632     (Digi version: DIGI632)
Sunflower #643     (Digi version: DIGI643)
A Little Note #645     (Digi version: DIGI645)

Wisps of Autumn #647     (Digi version: DIGI647)
Witchy Gerty #648     (Digi version: DIGI648)

I chose the Wisps of Autumn stamp set 647 to use on my card. I don't know about you, but I am looking forward to Autumn. I love the cooler weather and beautiful colors!

I made the window by using the Spellbinders Fancy Window die and adding the beautiful  Copper Flame embossing powder 453. I added the embossing powder a second time and sprinkled a little Champagne glitter G1045 in it for more sparkle. The saying is from the Autumn Swirl set 410 and was embossed using Teddy Brown embossing powder EP

The pumpkin is from the Fall Harvest set 474. I used Tiger Orange velvet glitter GM2003 on it. I love this Wisps of Autumn set because it can be used with many of our other Fall sets.

Christmas In July

Hi Everyone!  I hope you are having a good day and I hope you are not too hot! I have a card to show you that might cool you down a bit. We have a really cute, new Sparkle N Sprinkle stamp set released this month called Under the Mistletoe 556. I made a stand up card using this set.

Here is the side view to see the stand up card better.

I cut the tree from patterned paper using a die and added it behind the penguin. I then added white Liquid Applique to the tree, hat, cuffs and beard and also added Sparkling Snow glitter G1003.

To make the ice block look like ice, I added Diamond Glaze to it and added more Sparkling Snow glitter on the puddle.

For further directions on how to make this card, please click here.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great day! Hope you stay cool!

Keeping Cool

Hi Everyone! I hope you are enjoying your day. We have had so much rain lately. It has cooled us down, but I am ready for some sunshine. At House Mouse and Friends this week, the challenge is All About Summer. It wouldn't be summer without ice cream! My favorite flavor is Chocolate Caramel Brownie! What is yours? It looks like one little Hopper has his tummy full! LOL!

I added pearls to the ice cream for "sprinkles" and pop dotted the little Hopper.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great day. Keep cool!

Tags of 2014 -- July

Hi Everyone! I hope you are having a good day. I want to share the tag I made that was inspired by Tim Holtz's July tag. He used a sea theme and I decided it was time for me to get out some of my sea crafting supplies and work with them too! You can see Tim's demo here. I enjoyed embossing the piece of plastic to place over the Distress ink background for a different look.

I added sand and small seashell Mudd Puddles to the bottom. The large seashells are dies that I added Clear Rock Candy Distress glitter to. The clam shell was punched and given to me by my good friend. I love the patterned paper it was punched from!

I used Diamond Glaze on the angel fish. As usual I had a fun time making this tag. Tim always gives much inspiration each month!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great day!

A Summer Garden

Hello Everyone!  Summer has hit full force! We have very hot and humid weather. We have also been revamping our front flower bed. We yanked out overgrown bushes and planted smaller bushes and flowers. It looks so much better! Speaking of flower beds, I want to show you a card I made using the new Sparkle N Sprinkle  stamp set,Daisies 619. This is such a lovely stamp set. I really enjoyed making my card with it.

I had fun using a lot of embossing folders and dies as well. I am glad I got to use the new bird die that my good friend gave me for my birthday. I used Glisten embossing powder EP135 on them so that they would stand out more.

Bubblegum glitter G1088 was used on the large pink flower. You can click here for further                                                           instructions on how to make this card.

Happy 4th

Hi Everyone! I want to wish you all a wonderful, safe and happy 4th. During all of our fun celebrations let's not forget why we are celebrating and remember the brave military who have sacrificed to keep our country free. It is my prayer that we to hold these freedoms for years to come. God Bless America!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I wish you the best!
