A Shiny Christmas

Hi Everyone! I hope you have been enjoying the weekend. Some of you had a long holiday and I hope it was a good one! It has been beautiful here except it has gotten quite a bit colder. I decided to show this card that I made using the Sparkle N Sprinkle Snowflake Medallion.  It goes right along with the colder weather we have had these last few days! I bought some new shimmer sheetz recently and I just HAD to use one on this card. I ran it through an embossing folder and since the sheet has a silver core,  I sanded the raised areas to have the silver show through! Well, it's that time again to start Christmas decorating. Some of you might have yours done already. This card has put me in the mood, so I am hoping to get some decorating done this week. Thanks for stopping by. I always appreciate the time you take to give my blog a peek. Have a great day!

  1. I especially love the beautiful background April.

  2. Wow! That background is amazing, and your snowflake medallion is gorgeous! I can only imagine how spectacular it must be in person, April - so lovely!

And what is with this cold weather? A frost last night and in the 20s tonight? It's Florida by golly, and it's only November! What gives?

  3. I have shimmer sheetz and love 'em. Even bought the new Spellbinder ones to try out. I really like all these SNS medallions I've been seeing everyone use. Will have to get me some....love your card. :-)

  4. The medallion looks super with the shimmer sheetz that you sanded! I need to play with mine!

  5. This is so striking! Need to get some of those shimmer sheetz.

  6. Gorgeous!! The sanding on the shimmer sheet looks great and makes the perfect background for this lovely snowflake medallion.

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment. Have a blessed day!
