Hi! I am back again with another card for my alphabet series and the letter today is W. I used a baby wipe that I had wiped up ink with and used it for my background! I enjoy using different things for backgrounds on my cards.

V is for Vellum
It is time to show another card in my alphabet series. Today the letter is V so I used vellum two ways on this card. I found some leaf printed vellum in my stash and used it for the background. Next I stamped three leaves on plain vellum and embossed them using a glitter copper embossing powder. I colored on the back of them using various colors of alcohol markers. They were fussy cut and added to the front of the card.

U is for Ugly Background
I am back again this month with another card for my alphabet series. The letter is U, so I used an ugly background! I have thousands of backgrounds in my stash. When you start playing with products you can't just make one background, you have to keep playing because it is so much fun! I found this background where I had used marbles to ink up card stock. You adhere the card stock to the bottom of a food takeout container, add some drops of reinkers, place a few marbles on top, close the lid and shake the marbles around. I have some pretty backgrounds, but this one looks fuzzy and the colors are not that great. I love adding layers and embellishments on my cards. After all is done the background does not look too bad!

Thinking of You
Hi and welcome to my blog. I hope you are having a good day. We are having a rainy day which is good because we have not had rain in a month! I am sharing a card I made today using Tim Holtz's products. I love this coneflower stamp. I just planted a coneflower plant in my flowerbed and I hope it does well. I pulled a gelli plate background from my stash to use on this card. I have hundreds of backgrounds that I have made! I know I will never use them all.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a blessed day!

T is for Tissue Paper
Hi and welcome to my blog! I am showing another card for my alphabet series. Today the letter is T. I used tissue paper on my card. I used the smoosh technique to add colors to the tissue paper. You need to do this carefully so that the paper does not tear. After it dried I stamped on the paper using black ink. Lastly I adhered the tissue paper to card stock so that it would be sturdier.
