Card CASE

Hi and welcome to my blog. At Hero Arts they have a challenge to case a card. Most of you stampers who know me know that I love birds. I received a Christmas card from one of my stamping friends, Cindi Walsh,  that had a bird on it. I love this card and this is the one I am casing today

On my card I used this neat bird from Hero Arts. I liked the wood panel on Cindi's card, so I swiped a few colors of Distress inks (using the small cube ink pads) down the card to look like an old wood panel. I used a swirl embossing folder to add interest and swiped some green Distress ink over the raised areas. The saying is no brand.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Lovely bird card case. I like the background you created with the small ink cubes. It does resemble an old wood panel. Thanks for sharing over at The House That Stamps Built.

Aww, I'm glad you like my Christmas card! The wood panel on your case turned out really nice. I love the inked embossing. I can never ink embossing that neatly. You know I always like your choice of embellishment! Pretty card!
