Butterfly Garden

Hello and welcome to my blog. I want to show you a pull up card I made using the Altenew Butterfly stamp set. I love cards that have different folds and movement! I hope you enjoy seeing this fun card today. I am entering this card into the Altenew inspiration challenge. Here is the picture inspiration. Aren't these pretty colors?

Here is the front of my card when it is closed. I made the yellow frame for the butterfly by using a Martha Stewart punch.

When you pull up the card from the top you see the message inside and the 2 butterflies at the top. Here is the view of the card looking down on it.

This is a side view of the card. The instructions on how to make this card are here.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Wedding Card

Hi Everyone and welcome to my blog! Today am showing a wedding card I made. I have not made a wedding card in awhile and it is never to late to have a few on hand. I have had so much fun using my new Altenew Vintage Flowers stamp set. I got the inspiration for my card from this photo at Altenew's July challenge.

I stamped and masked all the flowers on three pieces of white card stock. I then added various dies and svg dies to the step card. Dies are one of my favorite embellishments. They add so much to a card. Here is a list of the dies I used.

Just Rite Garden Circle
Spellbinders Raindrops on Roses
Spellbinders Flourish Trim
Spellbinders Fancy Tags
Flourish Heart and Heart Butterfly -- svgs

Here is a side view of the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful and blessed day!

A Butterfly Hello

Hi Everyone! Welcome to my blog. I want to show you a card I made today using some metals and background stamps.

The butterfly was made by heating copper mesh with a heat gun to give it various colors. I then adhered a gold outline butterfly sticker to the copper mesh and fussy cut it. The "hello" is a metal charm that I colored with a teal Sharpie marker. I used Distress ink to dye my ribbon to match.

I made the background by using two Impression Obsession Cover A Card stamps -- Butterflies CC061 and Textural Dots CC016. I stamped these on some light patterned paper. Here is a close up to see the background better.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great day!

Winter Wonderland

Hi and welcome to my blog! It feels like Spring here instead of winter, but I want to show you a winter card I made with a Penny Black stamp called Snowy Park. After I stamped I sponged on pink, purple and blue Distress inks for the sky. The background was made by applying a blue gray chalk ink pad to the smooth side of a snowflake embossing folder, placing my white card stock inside and running it through my vagabond. I patted the raised snowflakes with Versa Mark ink and added sparkly embossing powder to them.

I cut snowflakes using a cuttlebug die and added sparkle embossing powder to these also and placed them behind the image that I cut out by using the Spellbinders Labels 8 die. My card was layered on a piece of black glossy card stock that I had smooshed some blue Inka Gold on.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you are having a good day!

The Earth Laughs In Flowers

Hi and welcome to my blog. I hope you are having a good day. I want to share a card I made using a Hero Arts stamp that I really like but I have not used much. Since it is Spring this is the perfect time to use it. I stamped it with green chalk ink and added this wonderful saying from Emerson. I have really enjoyed seeing all the flowers blooming in my area when I take a walk.

I used Cheery Lynn dies -- French Lattice and Exotic Butterfly. I got the inspiration for my card from this picture at Shabby Tea Room.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a blessed day!
