Technique Tuesday -- Mosaic

Hi and welcome to Technique Tuesday at Sparkle N Sprinkle! I hope you are enjoying your day. The technique I am showing you today is a mosaic technique. I really like this for a neat background.

Supplies:
  1. white cardstock
  2. clear embossing powder
  3. small pieces of rubber
  4. mounting block
  5. heat gun
  6. blue and green ink pad
  7. sponges
  8. paper towel
  9. Versa Mark ink pad
Instructions:

Cut small pieces of rubber in rectangles. I used rubber left from trimming unmounted stamps. I used double sided tape to adhere the pieces to a mounting block.

Use Versa Mark ink and ink up the rubber pieces and stamp on white cardstock.  Sprinkle on clear embossing powder and heat with a heat gun.

Now sponge on the blue and green inks covering the whole card. Then wipe off the excess with a paper towel.

I used an oval die cut to cut out the background and added my images. This makes an easy background and makes a card pop!  Have fun trying it!  Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope to see you again next Tuesday!
