Hi Everyone! Welcome to my blog. I know a lot of us are very busy with Christmas shopping, wrapping presents, parties and such. I want to show you a tag I made today using 2 of Tim Holtz's techniques that you can see here.
I cut a piece of burlap and used Tim Holtz's snowflake stencil over it. I sprayed on color using Fired Brick Distress spray. I then adhered the burlap piece to the tag. I used Tim Holtz's letterpress system for the word "happiness," as seen above. I flicked white gesso over green card stock and punched out the evergreen leaves and added the paper poinsettia. The green plaid strip at the top is a piece of washi tape.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you are enjoying this Christmas season!

This is a really neat traditional and masculine looking tag. What a lot of fun with the stenciling on the burlap but then added ribbons and flowers!
I agree, it is a very masculine tag. I love the techniques you used. Someone is going to be lucky when they receive this. Thanks for joining the Tuesday Throwdown tag challenge and hope to see more of your work.
