Hi Everyone! Welcome to my blog. I am showing another bits and bobs card today. I found a neat product in my stash that I bought years ago! I don't know where I bought this, but it had never been opened. This black paper is called Scratch Art. I looked online to see if this still exists and boy do they have a lot of beautiful kits of this product!
Basically you lay a stencil over the black paper and scratch off the areas inside the stencil and beautiful colors appear! I used a butterfly Kite stencil for this card.
After I scratched the butterfly I found some old Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers I had cut and colored many years ago and added them below the butterfly. I found a happy birthday die from North Coast Creations, cut it from aqua card stock to adhere to my card.
I am excited that I have found another neat way to use my stencils.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

That is beautiful! That is not how I would have guessed you made it, but it looks so crisp with the scratch art paper. Great card!
that is so pretty, I think I remember that stuff from a few years back but never bought any myself, it sure has pretty colors and your flowers and sentiment go so well with it!
Wow! I have some of that somewhere! I need to pull it out - what a great way to combine it with the stencils April. Thanks for sharing!
Well how fun!! I used to do the scratch art when I was a kid, didn't know it still existed. I love how you have picked up the colors for your embellishments. Great take on the challenge, thanks so much for playing along with us this week over at The Mod Squad!!!

Super cool way to use your stencils. I remember this product being out and "think" I even bought some of it....not sure I ever used it though. Your card makes me want to try it though! :) Hope you are having a good week....rainy and humid here so a good time to craft.
