Many Ways to Color #2

I am back with my second card in this Many Ways to Color series. Today I used 2 color mediums. I bought some interesting pens awhile back. They are out line pens. When you write with them they are silver and a color makes an outline around the silver. I used them to outline the stars on my card. Here is a close up picture. You can see a faint pink and orange line around the silver on the stars. I was hoping that the outline would be a little bolder, but it still gives a neat look. I also colored using glitter markers on the inside of the stars.

                    Here is my finished card using the stars.

Hi and welcome to my blog. I am showing a card with a new stamp that my good friend gave me. I have three cats, so this stamp is right down my alley! It is fun to find neat things in your stash that you have forgotten about. I found this acetate overlay frame and thought it would go well with the cute kitten. I also pulled out a gelli print from my stash to use as a background. The saying was stamped on the top of the acetate overlay.

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I am showing a winter card using this cute stamp from Penny Black. I used a new plaid stencil that I bought myself for Christmas.😄 I also used Memory Box cloud dies and cut them out of glitter card stock. It has warmed up a bit here, but we are to get more winter like weather in a couple of days.

Many Ways to Color Series #1

 Hi and welcome to my blog. At the beginning of each new year I start a new series on my blog. This helps me to stay motivated in my card crafting and to pull out things in my stash that I have not used in a long time. This year for this series I decided to concentrate on the many ways I can color stamps and cards. I had seen this technique on pinterest, so I decided to start with this one. I deviated just a bit when I made my card. Instead of using the Distress Sprays, I used the Distress Stains since I only had those.
