I am back again this month with another way to color. This was a little tricky because you have to work fast. The Lunar paste dries quickly! I dabbed the paste onto my stamp with finger daubers, then quickly stamped them on the card stock. I was able to blend the colors a bit with the daubers when I pounced them on the stamps. They turned out so pretty and shimmery and with some texture too!

Many Ways to Color #17 - Dot Coloring
Hi and welcome to my blog. I think all of us are ready for Fall! It has really been a hot summer for everyone. I decided to make a Fall card today and hopefully Fall will be here before we know it!
I decided to call my coloring method "dot coloring." Pointillism uses very tiny dots and is very time consuming. This "dot" method is faster and easier. I used an unused pencil eraser to make the dots on my card.

Many Ways to Color #16 Paint Markers
Hi and welcome back! I pulled out some paint markers that I bought at Target quite awhile ago. The paint is very thin and smooth. I thought that the paint would be a resist, so I swiped Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink over the red bird to make a blue background and Fossilized Amber Oxide ink over the blue bird, but the paint did not resist that well. But since these were paint pens, I was able to paint the birds again so that they really showed up.
I found some fun backgrounds in my stash to add the birds onto. The background with the red bird was made by taking out the cap with the long tube on it from some inks sprays and using the tube to make circles on the already wet watercolor paper. The blue bird's background was made by stamping a background stamp onto black card stock using White Brilliance ink.

Many Ways to Color #15 Chalk Popping
Hi and welcome to my blog. I am using a very old way to color today. I have not used the chalk popping technique in ages! It was fun to pull out my Soft Pastels and work with them. First I stamped the daisies using Versa Mark ink. I used a finger dauber and Qtips to color over the flowers with the chalks. After applying the chalks I wiped over the images using a paper towel to get off any excess chalk.
