Shabby Chic #6

Hi and welcome to my blog! The Easter season is upon us! I want to show you a shabby chic Easter card I made with a beautiful stamp from Paper Inspirations. I bought this stamp a few years ago from a store that sold all kinds of things. She had a small display with wooden stamps. When I saw this stamp I just had to have it! The frame around the stamp is Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangle. I added the die at the top from Yvonne Creations called Flower Swing. The butterfly is by Cheery Lynn Designs. I found some small felt doilies in my stash, cut one in half and added them behind the first layer.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a blessed Easter!

Oooo . . . this is beautiful!! Pink and green is my favorite card color combo. That stamp IS gorgeous!!! I love how the cross is all fuzzy, sort of in the background, but at the same time it really draws your eye and becomes the center of attention (as it should be!). Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.

So, so pretty April. Love that stamp - gorgeous detail and you have framed it beautifully. Love the sage and pink colors together too.

I had to look at this for awhile to figure out that the whole image is the stamp. I kept thinking you did some stenciling on the background. Very cool, and you have used it perfectly. Wonderful color choices and the die cuts are perfect. Another great take on the challenge, thanks for playing along with us once again over at The Mod Squad.
