M is for Masking

Hi and welcome to my blog. I am showing another card in my alphabet series and today I am on the letter M. I used the masking technique on my card. I stamped the flowers from  Altenew, colored them with alcohol markers and masked them. After I placed the masks over the flowers, I laid a stencil, by Vicki Boutin, over them and used blending brushes to color over the stencil. I used Broken China and Cracked Pistachio Oxide inks for the colors. The saying is a rub on.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!

Thud! This is one heck of a gorgeous card! Your masking is pretty. What a nice card to include coloured flowers with a stencil background. BTW my zinnia card background is Stampin' Up! Paper.
