 Hi and welcome to my blog. I hope you had a very Merry Christmas. I sure did. The whole family was able to be together this year. This was our first Christmas with our new grandson! I am looking forward to a new year. I hope we all have a wonderful 2022!

I used some pink foil paper that I received for Christmas and embossed it with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The image was stamped, colored and fussy cut to add to the card. I added star stickers to add a fun element.

 Hi and welcome to my blog. Over at the Dare 2B Artzy blog the challenge is to make a clean and simple card. Clean and simple is always a challenge for me because I think I need to fill every space! LOL! On this card I used a flower and leaf that I had in my stash. I white embossed them on vellum, fussy cut them and then colored with alcohol markers in the back.

Skating Frosty

 Hi and welcome to my blog. My card today is a very icy and frosty card even though outside here it feels like Spring! I made a round card using an old background in my stash that I made awhile back. I used blue and purple inks and some white acrylic paint on the background. The icy "pond" is silver card stock that was run through an embossing folder. I used white glitter card stock to cut out the snowflake wreath, but it looks a little pink in the picture.

Dies Series #23

 Hi and welcome to my blog! I am on card 23 and have only one more card to show in this series. This year has really flown by! The new die in my stash that I had not used, is the die that is in the right corner of my card. It is such a pretty Christmas die. I sponged the background and then placed the die over it so that the colors showed through. I made the label for the saying by using a border punch on each end of a piece of card stock and then cutting across the card stock so that each end of the tag had the punched pattern on it.

I went with the winter fun theme again for my card today. When my boys were growing up we went skiing after Christmas every year. My boys took up snowboarding so I bought this cute stamp to make cards for them. This is a very old Stampa Rosa stamp. What fun memories I have of us going on these trips. One year stands out when my 14 year old (now 34) flipped in the air and fell on his collarbone. Thankfully it was the last run of our 3 day skiing trip. Thankfully it was a clean break and he was back up and snowboarding again in 6 weeks!

Dies Series #22

 Hi and welcome to my blog. I have one more Thanksgiving card to show you using unused dies. This makes 22 unused dies so far! I will still have unused dies in my stash after my series is over next month! On this card I used Wildflowers #2 dies by Sizzix. The pumpkin is a layered stamp by Sunny Studios. The saying is from Just For Fun Stamps. I have been trying to use a lot of things from my satsh so I pulled out a background that I made this year using a brush of clear glue in places and then sponging green and brown inks across it when it dried. I love the distressed look it makes.

I chose to go with the winter fun theme for my card. Who doesn't love to go sledding in the snow? I used to spend hours sledding when I was little (that is when we had more snow in the South) and I could hardly be coaxed inside! I pulled a background from my stash where I had swiped some blue and purple acrylic paints across the card using an old credit card. I then smooshed it a little in white acrylic paint to make it look snowy. The snowflake background die was cut out of glitter card stock.
