Bio.

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like minded people.

I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself. This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Today I am showing another frame from my stash. To make the frame I used the negative from cutting out a die from gold card stock. I used alcohol inks on the card stock and then used a leaf embossing folder and ran it through my embossing machine.

I wanted to make the tree frame multicolored like the colors of Fall, so I cut the frame from a gelli plate background that I had made awhile back using acrylic paints. I stamped the mouse onto the blue card stock first. I then stamped the mouse on white card stock, colored it with markers, fussy cut it and adhered it over the stamped image. I love Fall and I hope that you are enjoying it as much as I do.

Frames Series #19

Welcome back to my frames series. I love this frame for Fall. I also love the beautiful Fall colors even though we do not see a lot of Fall color where I live. At least it is less humid and cooler here! I hope you are enjoying the cooler weather too. On this card everything on the card was pulled from my stash. The bird was already colored and cut! The leaves, wreath and even the embossed background were bits and pieces in my stash. I just put it all together.

Fall Birthday

I am so ready for Fall! How about you? Fall is my favorite season and I have been making a lot of Fall cards lately. I made this one using the Memory Box Fresh Foliage die that I cut from a gelli plate pull. The background was made by patting inks over the debossed side of the birch tree embossing folder and then stamping a leaf stamp on the same side of the embossing folder using a darker color of ink. I ran the embossing folder through my machine and colored in the areas of the trees' bark with a gray pencil.
