Hi and welcome to my blog. I have been on a roll this week making cards. I saw this fun fold card and wanted to make it right away. It looks hard to make but it is really easy! I am entering this into the Butterfly Challenge. Here is the link to their challenge and how to make the card. I used all the colors for the challenge. I could not find any patterned paper in ALL the paper I have that had the colors so I made my own. I took a piece of floral resist watercolor paper from a paper pad and brushed the different colors over it. (tickle me pink. tea green, thistle and tan) I really enjoyed making this type card.
Welcome to my blog and to my punches series! This year I am focusing on using my many punches that I have not used in a long time. Unfortunately this time of year it seems like there is a lot of sickness going around. I have made this get well card to have on hand, just in case I need one in a pinch. I used a pretty Fiskars punch for the border on my card.
Hi and welcome to my blog! We had 6 inches of snow the weekend before last! That is very unusual for us here in SC. So we had a winter wonderland for a few days. I love this cute little polar bear looking at the snowflakes. For the background on my card, I swiped some yupo paper through three different colors of blue alcohol inks to make the sky. The snowflakes were punched from white glitter card stock. I added glitter glue to the snowbank and around the bear. Over at Double D Challenge the theme is Blue and White Winter with an inspiratipn board.

Hi and welcome to my blog. Each year I have a series on my blog where I try twice a month to use things in my stash or use things that I have not crafted with for a long time. This year I want to bring out my punches and actually use them! They have been neglected for way too long! What in your stash have you not used in forever? Here is my first punch card for this year. I am always in need of birthday cards, so that is what I started with for this year's series. I punched each color of card stock diagonally and layered them. I used some of the punched out stars to add interest. This fun cat image from Penny Black just makes me happy!

Happy New Year and welcome to my blog! I am already starting my Christmas cards for 2022! It is never too early to start. This way I am not crunched near the end to get my cards done. This green card stock has a white core, so the dry embossing stands out more.
