Thinking of You

Hi and welcome to my blog. I hope you are having a good day. I am entering this card in the Woodblock Wednesday Challenge. I recently moved and got rid of about a third of my woodblock stamps, but I still have a good stash! Today I used this pretty stamp from Inkadinkado called Tin Can Mail. I used a mixed media background from my stash where I had used inks and acrylic paint. I stamped over the background and added a couple of moth stickers and some cord.

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today in my blog series the letter is R, so I used ribbon on my card. I wove the ribbon through places of this lattice die for a different look. I also used some thin silk ribbon to make the bow.

Q is for Quilling

Welcome back to my alphabet series! The letter today is Q, so I used quilling on my card. If you are not familiar with what quilling is, here is a link to help explain. I did a very simple quilling on my card to make the flowers.

Giving Thanks

Hi and welcome to my blog. We are having a little bit of Fall like weather here. I know it won't last long, but I was in the Fall mood and made a card using this cute owl and an embossing folder. I tried a new to me technique with the embossing folder. I used a leaf embossing folder and ran it through my machine using a piece of vellum. I colored with watercolor crayons on the raised areas and colored with blue in the negative area. To make the card, I turned the embossed piece over to where the indented side showed and added the owl and other embellishments.
