A Very Mice Day

Hi and welcome to my blog. I have been recently playing with a new type of card called the "impossible card." This card is not impossible to make -- it is actually quite easy! You can see how to make it here. I made two while I had all my stuff out and I know I will be making more!

I used this cute little House Mouse image and colored it with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I stamped the saying and cut it out using a Spellbinders label die.

Here is the other card I made using a die to pop up.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a blessed day!

I want to enter the top card in these challenges:

Think Pink

Hi and welcome to my blog! It has been fun being a guest designer this month for House Mouse Designs. I have another House Mouse card to show you today. The House Mouse and Friends Monday challenge is Think Pink. I love this satisfied little mouse inside the doughnut hole! I colored the icing pink using my Spectrum Noir markers. I then sprinkled on clear sparkle embossing powder to make it look more like icing.

This card is also a multi-fold card. It was fun adding all the cute images and embellishments inside.

I just love making cards with these stamps! Come join the challenge to be eligible to win some prizes. Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Butterfly Garden

Hello and welcome to my blog. I want to show you a pull up card I made using the Altenew Butterfly stamp set. I love cards that have different folds and movement! I hope you enjoy seeing this fun card today. I am entering this card into the Altenew inspiration challenge. Here is the picture inspiration. Aren't these pretty colors?

Here is the front of my card when it is closed. I made the yellow frame for the butterfly by using a Martha Stewart punch.

When you pull up the card from the top you see the message inside and the 2 butterflies at the top. Here is the view of the card looking down on it.

This is a side view of the card. The instructions on how to make this card are here.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Wedding Card

Hi Everyone and welcome to my blog! Today am showing a wedding card I made. I have not made a wedding card in awhile and it is never to late to have a few on hand. I have had so much fun using my new Altenew Vintage Flowers stamp set. I got the inspiration for my card from this photo at Altenew's July challenge.

I stamped and masked all the flowers on three pieces of white card stock. I then added various dies and svg dies to the step card. Dies are one of my favorite embellishments. They add so much to a card. Here is a list of the dies I used.

Just Rite Garden Circle
Spellbinders Raindrops on Roses
Spellbinders Flourish Trim
Spellbinders Fancy Tags
Flourish Heart and Heart Butterfly -- svgs

Here is a side view of the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful and blessed day!

A Summer Day

Hi Everyone! I want to share a card I made using stamps from Art Impressions. I love their scene stamps. I made this scene on a tri fold card. The flower bucket is pop dotted on the front of the card.

This is what the card looks like when the first flap is opened. I added the fence Impression Obsession die to the foreground.

This is the inside of the card. The butterflies are from Tim Holtz's Butterfly Frenzy die. I used Pierced dies from Gina Marie for the saying.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Altered Dies #10

Hi and welcome to my blog. I trust you are having a good day! I want to share another altered die card I made today. I just love the month of  May because summer is on the way and all the flowers are abloom! I made the flowers for my basket by using snowflake dies!

This is a swing card. Here is the card opened.

I used the snowflakes from Elizabeth Craft's Spiral Circle Pull card since they were the size that I wanted. I cut them from several patterned papers.

I then layered these to make my flowers and added pearls to the centers.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Happy Mother's Day

Hi and welcome to my blog. I want to wish all you mothers out there a very Happy Mother's Day! Even if you are not a mother many of you have people in your life that you are a "mother" to. Yesterday a friend of mine and I went to an assisted living where we gave out pretty Mother's Day baskets that our Sunday School class had made. There were a couple of ladies who did not have children but they said they had nieces and nephews that they "mothered." Here is a picture of the baskets we made.

I also made this pull up Mother's day card. I love cards that have a function. The card pulls up to reveal a message inside. Here is the card closed.

                                                      Here is the card opened.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Again, have a wonderful and blessed Mother's Day!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone! I hope your Easter is wonderful and blessed! "He is not here; he has risen, just as he said." Matthew 28: 6.

This is a step stand up card. Here is a side view to show how it stands up. I stamped and fussy cut the lops. The butterfly die is from Cheery Lynn and the Leaf die is from Memory Box. The Egg is an svg that I stamped a script on. I used the lacy ribbon punch from Martha Stewart for the border at the bottom of the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Tower Card

Hi Everyone! I hope you are having a good day. I am always looking for new and different cards to make. I stumbled across this tower card on Split Coast Stampers. This was a fun card with new folds to me. It is a great way to display a card. You can view the instructions here. I used two dies on the front -- Spellbinders Raindrops On Roses die they made for Heartfelt Creations and Quick Kutz Scallop die.

Here is the picture of the back of the card.

I hope you have as much fun as I did making this card. Have a great day!
