Out With the New and in With the Old #20

I am loving making Fall cards! Fall is my favorite time of year even though it is a very short season here. I love the crisp in the air, scents and colors of Fall. I am trying to use my old wooden stamps this year and found these 2 stamps that are perfect for a Fall card. I pulled this alcohol inked vellum piece from my stash to use for a background.

Out With the New and in With the Old #19

I am so glad that it is feeling like Fall here! We had a really hot Summer! I have been using my very old wooden stamps this year and I have been enjoying it. On this card I pulled out a background I made earlier. I lightly blended colors across the card and then used a leaf stencil over top. I used the same colors that I blended to color in the stencil but sponged harder so that the stencil impressions would show up. I then used an embossing folder and ran it through my machine.

Stamp: Sunflower - Stamp Affair

Stencil: Leaves - Stamper's Anonymous (TH)

Embossing Folder - Cuttlebug

Die: Labels 20 - Spellbinders

Flower Soft: Black and Nut Brown - Impression Obssesion

Colored Pencils - Prisma

Pale Gold Pigment Powder - Maimeri

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a fabulous day!

As You Like It - I love to use bows on my cards. I love using silk ribbon because the bow ties easier and is less bulky to send through the mail.

Here is another card I made with my old wooden stamps. I used a piece of background paper in my stash where I had dropped some colors of alcohol inks into water in a pan. The alcohol inks float on top of the water. I placed some glossy cardstock into the water to make this speckled background.
