U is for Ugly Background

I am back again this month with another card for my alphabet series. The letter is U, so I used an ugly background! I have thousands of backgrounds in my stash. When you start playing with products you can't just make one background, you have to keep playing because it is so much fun! I found this background where I had used marbles to ink up card stock. You adhere the card stock to the bottom of a food takeout container, add some drops of reinkers, place a few marbles on top, close the lid and shake the marbles around. I have some pretty backgrounds, but this one looks fuzzy and the colors are not that great. I love adding layers and embellishments on my cards. After all is done the background does not look too bad!

Ah yes....the Chevy BelAire. My hubby's "dream car".....and he'd own one if they didn't cost a small fortune. We spend too much money travelling to see our kids and grandkids...LOL. Thanks for sharing this fabulous card with us at Word Art Wednesday, April. I'm always delighted to have you share and play along with us. Have a blessed and creative week. God bless you!

Cool background technique and certainly not ugly... great background for your car focal point and gear embellishments... like how you picked the green from background for your car. Thank you for sharing your delicious layers with us at Double Trouble.
