Ink Lift

Hi and welcome to my blog. I hope you are enjoying your day. I have been crafting today and I want to show you the card I made. I ink blended the background on watercolor paper using Distress inks and blending brushes. Next I spritzed the flower with water and stamped it onto the blended background and blotted the print with a paper towel. I did this several times over the background. I stamped the bird at the bottom and added the saying. I used a white gel pen to add dots for interest and for the bird's eye.

Stamps:  Bird - Hero Arts
Saying - Friendly Greetings - Hero Arts
Flower - Zinnia Style - Hero Arts
Die:        Small Oval - Spellbinders
Distress Inks:  Tim Holtz
White Gel Pen - Gelly Roll

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!
