Oldie But Goodie

I hope your day was a good one. It was cold and drizzly here today. But I was cheered up by making this card for three challenges. At Impression Obsession the challenge was to use an older stamp. I chose this pretty stamp called Porch with Flag (E1726). At Joan's Gardens the challenge is to use a window or door and make an outdoor scene, and then I followed the sketch at Top Tip Tuesday. Here is a tip I used on the window of this card. I wanted the whole window the have red behind it, but the right side of the window was showing the striped paper through it. So I carefully traced the window shape on red card stock and cut out the shape and glued it behind the window.

April,
I absolutely love what you've done with this sketch!!! This is just stunningly beautiful. The bold red just looks so rich and how you traced the window frame to mat red behind it is perfect. :) Wonderfully done. :)

Thank you SO much for sharing your talent with us at Top Tip Tuesday!
hugs,
Lisa xx
