Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog Hop

Hi, welcome to the Sparkle N Sprinkle Deco Divas - Love is in the Air Blog Hop!  I f you hopped here by way of  Dawn's wonderful blog, then you are in the right place! Otherwise, you might want to start from the beginning at the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog, to become eligible for the four great prizes.

Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner, I chose stamps from the Heart's & Flowers set 306 and made two Valentines. On my first card I used the Crossed Hearts stamp to make a vintage Valentine card. Over this stamp I used dimensional glue and sprinkled Starfire glitter in it to add shimmer and shine.

On my second card I used the same stamp along with the vases in the set and made a more traditional Valentine card.  I made a lacy layer by using a border punch.

Thank you for visiting and remember to leave a comment to become eligible for a prize. Also leave a comment on each blog and answer the question on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog to be eligible for ALL the prizes.  Now hop over to Jill's lovely blog to see her wonderful creations!

Oh, April. I arrived at your blog, and my heart just felt loved. Such a BEAUTIFUL card - vintage, colorful, textured, so much for my eye to find. Just gorgeous. I really do want to know how you create those wonderful bows using the seam binding. Please please please share your secret with me. I like how yours come out.

Your second card reminds me of paper doilies when we were in elementary school. Of course, your card is amazing, but it's such a happy, clean look and very traditional. Thank you for brightening my morning with your amazing cards!

Both cards are beautiful. I think I'm drawn more to vintage one. I love the hearts over the designer paper. It really matches nicely.

Thanks for your kind comment, Donna! I make my bows by folding the ribbon back and forth a few times and then tying the folds tightly together with a smaller piece of the ribbon.
